Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in payroll and HR operations.
- Have experience with HRIS and payroll platforms such as Paycor, Workday, ADP, Paylocity, UKG, or Ceridian.
- Have experience with system implementation, configuration, optimization, or transitions.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of payroll processing, taxes, and compliance.
- Bring client-facing or consulting experience; this is strongly preferred.
- Have construction industry payroll experience; this is a strong plus.
- Be highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Be comfortable working independently in a consulting environment.
- Be able to manage multiple client projects at once.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on HRIS and payroll system optimization.
- Partner with clients to understand payroll and HR workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
- Configure, optimize, and support HR and payroll platforms such as Paycor, Workday, ADP, Paylocity, and UKG.
- Review system setups and recommend improvements to efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Assist with system implementations, upgrades, transitions, setup, testing, and go-live activities.
- Validate payroll configurations, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and reporting.
- Support payroll processing and validation, and troubleshoot payroll and system issues.
- Ensure payroll configurations align with federal, state, and local compliance requirements.
- Deliver system training and documentation to clients.
