Requirements
- Have excellent written and spoken English.
- Be comfortable working directly with customers and public audiences.
- Be resourceful and methodical, with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to take on varied tasks.
- Preferred: Be able to build or use AI agents to improve workflows and judge when human review is needed.
- Preferred: Have a technical background with DevOps experience.
- Preferred: Have contributed to an open source project and be able to read code and triage a merge/pull request.
- Preferred: Be interested in occasional travel to customer sites or community events.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track customer contribution engagements with account, product, and engineering teams.
- Guide early conversations with account teams and customers about feasible contributions.
- Connect customers with the appropriate product and engineering leads.
- Run contributor recognition programs, including awards and community highlights in release communications.
- Partner with product marketing and other stakeholders to deliver program content on schedule.
- Promote team initiatives internally and enable other teams to participate.
- Promote programs externally through writing and events to attract and engage contributors.
- Use existing tools and AI agents to deliver the work and implement workflow improvements.
