Requirements
- Have around 6-7 years of experience.
- Have Kubernetes and Elasticsearch expertise.
- Have experience deploying Elasticsearch in EKS.
- Be flexible to travel to the client location occasionally.
- Be available for a three-month contract, which could be extended.
- Attend the initial one-week onboarding at the Chennai office.
Responsibilities
- Review the existing cluster and reconfigure it with ML support.
- Choose the appropriate instance type.
- Implement security controls with RBAC, ABAC, and IP filtering.
- Improve performance for read, write, and bulk operations.
- Tune storage, documents, and indices using Hot-Warm Architecture.
- Monitor data streaming and nodes.
- Integrate multiple event-log sources.
- Plan for growth and forecast.
- Automate cluster deployment, snapshots, and restoration.
- Deploy Fleet Server and Elastic Agent, generate visualizations and reports, and upgrade Elasticsearch to version 8.8.
