Experience: 6+ years of hands-on cloud engineering, DevOps and/or platform engineering experience, including at least 1-2+ years with infrastructure as code and CI/CD automation on Microsoft Azure in production.

Have 6+ years of hands-on cloud engineering, DevOps, and/or platform engineering experience.
Have at least 1-2+ years of production experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD automation on Microsoft Azure.
Have post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
Bring practical, in-depth knowledge of Terraform, Helm, Azure DevOps pipelines, and GitOps delivery using Argo CD or Flux.
Have Terraform experience with module design, provider version management, state management, and refactoring.
Have experience authoring and refactoring Helm charts, and recent experience with Kubernetes and AKS.
Demonstrate knowledge of Azure AKS, Key Vault, Storage, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, networking, identity, and observability tools.
Have hands-on experience automating backup, restore, and failover with measured RTO and RPO.
Have experience using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or equivalent, protecting confidential data and reviewing generated output.
Have experience running, hardening, and right-sizing production workloads on Kubernetes.
Have hands-on Kafka operations experience, including topic and partition design, consumer group sizing, and throughput and latency trade-offs.
Have strong Python and Bash skills for building maintainable tooling.

Review repositories and CI setup, then consolidate Azure DevOps pipeline YAML into reusable templates with change detection and automated quality gates.
Replace manual cross-functional work with scheduled, auditable automation, including patching, certificate and secret rotation, environment scaling, and recurring reports.
Implement GitOps-based continuous delivery with declarative deployments, automated reconciliation, drift detection, and rollback.
Automate end-to-end provisioning and teardown of line-of-business environments across Azure services and applications.
Automate backup validation, restore, failover, and recurring disaster recovery drills; measure RTO and RPO.
Maintain reusable Helm charts and versioned Terraform modules, and validate configuration and state boundaries.
Run and harden Helm-deployed platform services, including health probes, replica counts, resource requests and limits, and autoscaling.
Build and maintain Build Agent images and automate policy-as-code, security and IaC scanning, alerts, and dashboards.
Contribute to AI enablement by packaging knowledge into reusable skills and runbooks in the shared skill library.
Work with development and operations teams to prioritize automation gaps, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and document automated processes.
