Requirements
- Experience developing applications with Java, including object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with the Spring Framework or similar Java development frameworks.
- Experience with Java Spring applications using React or Angular on the front end.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and experience working with Oracle databases.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud and Jira.
- Ability to work effectively in an agile environment, manage priorities, and deliver solutions within deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for investigating complex technical issues.
- Communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and technical stakeholders.
- L2 or L3 customer support, application integration, or direct customer-facing technical consulting experience is an advantage.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Perform unit and integration testing.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and debug complex application issues.
- Write maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with product owners, software architects, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Support application integrations and resolve technical challenges across interconnected systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for development projects, applications, and support processes.
- Work within agile practices and keep up to date with development technologies and AI-assisted software engineering tools.
