Requirements
- Have experience in credit control or collections.
- Provide examples of reducing overdue balances.
- Be familiar with Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Have a reliable laptop.
- Have stable fibre internet and a quiet workspace.
- Be available for 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).
- UK VAT and payment terms experience is nice to have.
- Familiarity with Dext or GoCardless is nice to have.
- Experience with ageing reports in Excel is nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Chase overdue invoices by email and phone in a professional, firm tone.
- Agree payment plans and log every promise to pay.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve disputes with sales and finance.
- Update the ageing report weekly and flag high-risk accounts.
- Allocate incoming payments accurately in the accounting system.
