Job Details

Have extensive experience in a senior finance role such as CFO, VP Finance, Finance Director, or FP&A Lead.
Bring expertise in building forecasts, budgets, and multi-scenario financial models.
Have a strong accounting foundation, including GAAP, financial statements, accrual accounting, and month-end close.
Demonstrate experience managing liquidity, working capital, and runway in a scaling business.
Understand modern AI tools and how to use them to support analysis and reporting.
Communicate complex financial information as clear, actionable insights for the CEO and leadership team.
Be available during business hours to communicate responsively with the CEO and leadership team.
Use QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software.
Have advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and dashboards.
Be familiar with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or prompt engineering.
Use Google Workspace, Slack, and project management platforms.
CPA, CMA, or CFA certification is a plus.
Staffing, recruiting, or agency experience is a plus.

Build and own annual financial plans and 3–5 year projections, translating company goals into financial plans and milestones.
Maintain rolling monthly and quarterly forecasts and model best-case, base-case, and worst-case scenarios.
Lead annual budgeting, monitor budget variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Manage cash flow, working capital, collections timing, payroll funding, and cash reserves.
Prepare financial statements, management reports, executive dashboards, and finance KPIs.
Analyze profitability by client, service line, and team, and present insights to the CEO and leadership team.
Advise the CEO on growth, pricing, investments, risk, and the ROI of initiatives, hires, markets, and partnerships.
Establish internal controls and approval workflows, oversee bookkeeping and month-end close, and coordinate with external finance advisers.
Design finance procedures and optimize finance tools, integrations, and automations, including the use of AI.
Mentor finance or bookkeeping support as the team grows.
