Requirements
- Have one to two years of professional experience in portfolio operations, trade execution, financial analysis, or a related function within a financial institution or financial technology environment.
- Apply analytical thinking and quantitative problem-solving to interpret trading information, identify anomalies, and investigate discrepancies.
- Demonstrate attention to detail when reviewing financial transactions, monitoring portfolios, and following operational procedures.
- Understand investment operations, portfolio management, trading workflows, or financial markets.
- Recognize operational risks, assess potential impacts, and communicate issues clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate across investment, trading, operations, product, and engineering teams.
- Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to reliable day-to-day operations.
- Manage recurring responsibilities while responding to unexpected issues and competing priorities.
- Work comfortably with data-driven processes and technology-enabled investment workflows.
Responsibilities
- Review algorithm-generated trade orders across managed portfolios for accuracy and resolve irregularities before submission to the trading desk.
- Monitor trade activity and investigate unusual orders, discrepancies, and potential operational risks.
- Review managed accounts to identify operational bottlenecks, workflow inefficiencies, and recurring issues.
- Perform daily portfolio management and trading support activities with a focus on accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with trading desks and investment operations teams to support trade execution and resolve operational challenges.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to improve trading processes, portfolio monitoring, and automation.
- Analyze operational data and trading patterns to identify recurring issues, assess risks, and recommend process improvements.
- Communicate operational risks, trade discrepancies, and emerging issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Document workflows, identify friction points, and support more efficient portfolio operations.
