Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in related fields.
- 3+ years of experience building commercial apps or services.
- Fluency or understanding of languages such as C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Expertise in RDBMS design and operation, with strong knowledge of SQL.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and security.
- Working knowledge of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or other mainstream cloud computing platforms.
- Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with collaborative development tools such as git, Jira, and DevOps.
- Ability to work independently or with a group.
- Must be fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end web development process, including cloud storage and app service setup.
- Understand client needs and develop APIs to support required functionality.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to set objectives and design cohesive code that enhances user experience.
- Support system integration and user acceptance testing resources.
- Analyze, remediate, and report defects in a timely manner.
- Perform unit and functional testing to ensure work quality.
- Analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify improvements.
- Develop ideas for programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on best practices and programming languages.
- Lead projects as needed.
