Job Details

Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
Be proficient with computers, spreadsheet software programs, and a calculator.
Have well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles and personal income taxes.
Hold a current and valid certified public accountant’s license; preferred but not required.
Be able to complete work with minimal supervision and consistently produce work needing little or no revision.
Be prepared to handle complex assignments for major or difficult clients.
Develop expertise in an industry or specialized technical area.
Communicate clearly and concisely.
Approximately 1,575 annual billable hours at acceptable realization levels.

Perform technical tax reviews and approve tax returns and governmental tax examinations of any complexity.
Staff projects, set budgets, and take responsibility for the quality and timely completion of project work.
Develop senior and staff accountants, provide technical guidance, and instruct at training events.
Manage the flow of tax returns through the preparation system to support accurate and timely delivery.
Maintain knowledge of economic and political trends that could affect the business climate or legislation.
Build client relationships, understand clients’ businesses and needs, and provide proactive service.
Participate in marketing and business development, identify opportunities to expand services, and maintain a professional network.
Address technical and performance issues, provide feedback, and help team members improve.
