Requirements
- Have 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Bring senior-level software engineering experience and strong full-stack capabilities.
- Have 0-to-1 building experience, including shipping end-to-end features.
- Have carried projects from idea to production.
- Have experience owning substantial parts of a codebase.
- Be able to handle large-scale projects without a detailed roadmap.
- Have strong experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Make meaningful progress with minimal oversight.
- Bring strong attention to detail.
- Have a hands-on engineering mindset and interest in remaining an individual contributor.
- EdTech experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Vercel deployment, serverless architecture, modern web frameworks, or AI/ML products or tooling is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build, prototype, refine, and ship AI-powered literacy tools.
- Take complex, cross-cutting features from prototype to production.
- Make thoughtful architecture and security decisions.
- Improve engineering systems and practices.
- Maintain a high-quality, easy-to-reason-about codebase at scale.
- Communicate proactively with the remote team to ensure alignment.
- Ship features end-to-end.
