Requirements
- Have 3+ years of hands-on SAP FPSL configuration experience.
- Bring working knowledge of FPSL posting logic, including posting schemas, event categories, result type mapping, and accounting rules.
- Be familiar with SAP S/4HANA GL integration and the Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
- Have experience in an ITIL-based AMS environment with SLA adherence and formal incident management processes.
- Have strong written communication in English and the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Be comfortable working with an onshore functional lead and interacting directly with clients during overlap hours.
- SAP S/4HANA or FPSL certification is preferred.
- Experience with financial products in banking or insurance, such as loans, deposits, or securities, is preferred.
- Exposure to IFRS 9 or IFRS 17 accounting requirements is preferred.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or JIRA for incident and change management is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and resolve L1/L2 incidents in the FPSL environment within defined SLA windows, and escalate L3 issues with root cause documentation.
- Execute approved FPSL configuration changes for posting schemas, accounting rules, and product type setup.
- Perform unit and regression testing and track defects for enhancement changes.
- Maintain AMS runbooks, configuration workbooks, and known-error database entries.
- Support period-end closing activities, including subledger reconciliation checks and posting log analysis.
- Prepare daily and weekly status reports and incident summaries for onshore review and client reporting.
- Participate in onshore overlap calls for knowledge transfer, sprint planning, and change coordination.
- Manage SAP transport requests and coordinate system refresh activities under approved change management procedures.
