Requirements
- Hold current certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Have prior experience with remote patient monitoring, telehealth, or virtual care programs.
- Have experience with EHR systems and enrollment or intake workflows.
- Be comfortable using video and phone platforms, EHR systems, and remote monitoring devices.
- Be able to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Have strong organizational and time-management skills and be able to prioritize a variable daily workload.
- Have verbal and written communication skills to explain medical and technical information in a patient-friendly manner.
- Have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
- Work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week during normal business hours.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial enrollment calls with patients referred for remote patient monitoring.
- Explain the RPM program and what patients or caregivers can expect.
- Guide patients through initial setup and configuration of remote monitoring devices.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues during onboarding and escalate as needed.
- Verify and document patient information, consent, and enrollment status in the EHR/RPM platform.
- Coordinate with clinical staff, care teams, and technical support to support onboarding.
- Manage a daily caseload of new enrollments and follow up to confirm successful device setup.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational privacy and security policies.
- Identify and communicate enrollment barriers to the care team.
