Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically have a minimum of nine months of Contact Center customer service training/experience.
- Typically have 18 months of prior customer service or related experience.
- Have successfully completed specialized skill training.
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Be able to navigate multiple computer systems and applications and use search tools to find information.
- Have time management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Have experience interacting positively with unsatisfied customers.
- Speak clearly, articulately, and accurately, using a pleasant tone and common conversational courtesies.
- Have computer navigation skills and proficiency with software packages including Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and problems by telephone or email.
- Process customer inquiries using multiple systems and provide information on accounts.
- Research and resolve customer problems and errors, including those related to fraud support and internet operations.
- Obtain knowledge of products, services, rates, terms, fees, applicable regulations, systems, and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between customers and U.S. Bank departments to resolve complex customer or technology issues.
- Ask questions to understand customer concerns and financial needs.
- Present customers with options for making their banking easier and more convenient.
