Requirements
- Hold an active Health Insurance Producer License.
- Hold active licenses in a minimum of 5 states.
- Have previous health insurance experience, including phone or virtual consultations with consumers.
- Have a strong grasp of health insurance terminology and enrollment processes.
- Be able to explain coverage clearly and compliantly.
- Be dependable with scheduled appointments and able to work independently and remotely.
- Have a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet, professional workspace.
- Be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled phone or virtual health insurance advisements.
- Review each member’s healthcare needs, budget, eligibility, and available plan options.
- Explain coverage, benefits, premiums, and limitations clearly.
- Help members make informed decisions and assist with enrollment when applicable.
- Document each advisement accurately and complete necessary follow-up.
- Attend scheduled appointments on time and communicate with members and partner teams.
- Follow applicable carrier, state, federal, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Complete required training and product updates.
