- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) and either at least three years of SEC reporting at a public registrant or equivalent experience auditing public companies.

Requirements
- Have 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting; Big 4 or national firm experience is preferred.
- Have at least three years of SEC reporting at a public registrant or equivalent experience auditing public companies.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Maintain an active CPA license.
- Have strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules, including Regulation S-X and S-K.
- Have experience supervising and developing staff; month-end close experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate strong written communication skills and judgment to present to senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Have advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, and building and auditing complex models.
- Have hands-on experience with Workiva or similar reporting software; inline XBRL tagging is strongly preferred.
- Have proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Own Townsquare’s external reporting and technical accounting as a member of the accounting leadership team.
- Oversee market operations, with a focus on revenue generation across media and entertainment platforms.
- Create and execute a strategy for consistent revenue and profit growth.
- Support the content team and hold it accountable for brand strategy and content delivery.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales talent; lead the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Ensure station licensing and compliance with FCC and other federal, state, and local rules.
- Grow key accounts through integrated programs and new business development.
- Prepare and manage the fiscal budget and strategic goals for advertising, live events, and digital services.
- Represent Townsquare Media with key clients and the community.
