Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- At least 2 years of clinical trial, clinical data management, or similar industry experience or training.
- Working knowledge of EDC studies and SAS.
- Prior responsibility for the entire data management life cycle is desirable.
- A degree in a scientific, medical, or technological discipline is preferred.
- Ability to lead functional meetings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Advanced computer skills and practical knowledge of MS Office; project management software knowledge may be useful.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, take initiative, and complete tasks to deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in person, by phone, and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical data management projects to ensure quality, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Complete traditional and assigned clinical data management operations and activities.
- Communicate with clients and sponsors about requirements and issues, and deliver contracted services and clinical data.
- Work with Clinical Data Specialists to execute Data Management Plans.
- Support internal clinical data management initiatives and maintain systems used for project infrastructure.
- Ensure required documentation is filed according to company and project requirements.
- Lead user acceptance testing on new software.
- Select and interview clinical data manager candidates.
- Train and guide junior team members.
