Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience, including significant leadership in product management for platform, infrastructure, or database domains.
- Deep technical fluency in database query engines and query languages such as SQL and MQL.
- Expertise in developer experiences and distributed systems; AI platform tooling or LLM orchestration may also be relevant.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and convincingly to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
- Proven success delivering complex cross-functional projects.
- Ability to write, defend, and execute multi-year business cases.
- B.Sc. in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Nice to have: MBA, M.Sc., or Ph.D. in a relevant technical or business domain.
- Nice to have: experience with MongoDB or other non-relational database technologies.
- Nice to have: success leading products for developer personas in fast-paced, growing environments.
- Nice to have: familiarity with open-source and cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead strategic unity across multiple product areas over a multi-year horizon to drive a coherent product experience.
- Originate and de-risk consequential strategic bets, own rigorous business cases, and advise leadership on multi-year economic outcomes.
- Engage strategically significant customers at senior levels, including advisory boards and executive briefings, to surface cross-portfolio opportunities and inform the roadmap.
- Mentor Staff and Senior PMs and develop data-driven product management playbooks.
- Create customer and market research frameworks and standards for organization-wide use.
- Partner with Directors and VPs to shape investment allocation and sequencing across query, developer experiences, and the core database portfolio.
- Represent the product line to the industry, developers, standards bodies, and at major conferences.
- Own pricing and monetization strategy for the product line where relevant.
