Requirements
- Have 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, trading, or wealth/investment management platforms.
- Bring demonstrated leadership experience managing large, multi-functional teams.
- Have a deep understanding of operations, trading systems, and billing processes within an RIA or institutional platform.
- Have strong knowledge of fiduciary standards, compliance, and operational risk frameworks.
- Bring a proven track record driving process transformation, automation, and operational scale.
- Be available during standard business hours Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, with occasional early or late hours as needed.
- Six Sigma green or yellow belt certification, Kaizen, or other process-improvement methodologies are preferred.
- Series 65, or ability to obtain it, is preferred.
- CFA, CAIA, or MBA is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction and execution of Trading, Operations, and Billing functions.
- Evolve the operating model to coordinate advisory, portfolio management, and service teams.
- Drive process redesign and continuous improvement across workflows and operational processes.
- Enhance operational KPIs and dashboards to track performance, risk, throughput, and service quality.
- Ensure operational processes and trading activities meet fiduciary standards and regulatory obligations.
- Oversee best execution practices, trading strategy implementation, portfolio rebalancing, and trading workflows.
- Lead operations, portfolio accounting, reconciliation, performance reporting, and client billing.
- Modernize billing processes, controls, and transparency while improving collection accuracy and timeliness.
- Build and develop leaders across Trading, Operations, and Billing, including career paths and succession plans.
- Partner with client-facing, technology, compliance, risk, and finance teams and serve as a senior escalation point.
