Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of sales or relationship management experience in financial services required.
  • Experience generating deposit relationships with small to mid-sized businesses preferred.
  • Experience with deposit pricing and liquidity management preferred.
  • Working knowledge of treasury management solutions preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must reside in the Northeast/MidAtlantic territory: NJ, NY, PA, DE, or CT.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of Corporate Banking clients, focusing on acquiring, retaining, and expanding deposit relationships.
  • Identify client needs and develop deposit and banking solutions to support relationship growth and retention.
  • Develop new client relationships through business development, networking, and industry and community activities.
  • Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities, including commercial lending opportunities, and connect clients with internal business partners.
  • Provide financial guidance based on clients’ business needs and maintain relationships through ongoing communication and service.
  • Monitor deposit activity and client relationships to identify changes, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive activity, deposit products, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute market and competitive insights to Corporate Banking deposit growth initiatives.
