Requirements
- Have a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO setting.
- For CRO candidates, have held a senior strategic role and demonstrate leadership capabilities and Rheumatology expertise.
- Hold a terminal degree (MD) and have training in Rheumatology.
- Be Board Certified in Rheumatology.
- Have practical knowledge of leading and managing execution of processes, projects, and tactics within a research and development therapeutic area.
- Be able to travel nationally or internationally at least 20% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Work independently of the therapeutic area head.
- Develop strategic proposals independently with other members of the proposal development team.
- Lead client proposal bid defense meetings as a medical director and subject matter expert.
- Consult throughout the research and development life cycle and clinical trials, or provide a standalone customer solution.
- Formulate clinical development plans.
- Execute the group strategy and lead the strategic direction of the Center of Excellence.
