Requirements

  • Significant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical program management, portfolio or asset strategy, management consulting, business operations, or a comparable strategic role.
  • Demonstrated ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong understanding of drug development and ability to work across clinical, translational, regulatory, CMC, and commercial disciplines.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including producing data-driven presentations, slides, and executive memos.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including evaluating risks, trade-offs, scenarios, and program inflection points.
  • Demonstrated fluency with AI tools and ability to incorporate AI into workflows.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and move between long-term strategy and tactical execution.
  • Willingness to travel approximately once per month for team and external stakeholder engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Asset Entrepreneur to evaluate program scenarios and key inflection points.
  • Own end-to-end execution as the operational lead for a single-asset biotech program.
  • Coordinate clinical, translational, regulatory, CMC, commercial, and other functional teams.
  • Identify execution gaps, mobilize internal stakeholders and external partners, and resolve obstacles.
  • Translate complex scientific, clinical, regulatory, and operational information into analyses and recommendations.
  • Prepare data-driven materials for executive leadership, Board discussions, investors, and business development activities.
  • Maintain program documentation, including decisions, assumptions, benchmarks, dashboards, trackers, and action plans.
  • Manage external vendors, advisors, CROs, and strategic partners.
  • Support scientific narratives about novel molecules and emerging biology.
  • Document lessons learned and scalable practices for future programs.
