Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree or higher and 15 years of experience in enterprise data strategy, governance, analytics, or digital transformation; or a High School Diploma/GED and 19 years of such experience.
- Demonstrate success implementing or maturing enterprise data governance frameworks in complex, multi-business-unit organizations.
- Bring deep expertise in data architecture, MDM, metadata, data quality, lineage, and modern cloud data platforms.
- Demonstrate the ability to influence senior executives and drive alignment across business and technology functions.
- Have experience leading large-scale transformation, operating model design, and cross-functional change initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with executives and translate complex topics into actionable insights.
- A master’s degree in Data, Information Systems, Business, or a related field is an additional qualification.
- Experience building and leading enterprise data governance organizations and data domain models is an additional qualification.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking focused on execution, measurable outcomes, and enterprise value creation.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve enterprise data strategy aligned to business priorities, digital transformation goals, and the operating model.
- Drive the design and adoption of enterprise data governance frameworks, including data ownership, stewardship, quality, and standards.
- Partner with IT and business leaders to shape scalable data platforms, including cloud, MDM, metadata, and analytics capabilities.
- Establish governance forums and executive steering committees to align priorities, manage risk, and ensure value realization.
- Lead cross-functional change management to embed data-driven decision-making, trusted data usage, and enterprise-wide adoption.
