Requirements
- Hold an active, unrestricted mental health license in the state of primary residence.
- Hold an active license in the state where medical services are provided.
- Be actively licensed or willing to obtain a license in Arizona, Oregon, or Washington in addition to the primary-residence license.
- Be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Be comfortable working in a remote environment.
- Have access to a quiet, dedicated workspace and reliable internet connectivity.
- Be able to sit for extended periods during working hours.
- Have the manual dexterity needed to use a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
- Have adequate vision to read computer screens and documents.
- Have clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based counseling and therapy to patients through telemedicine.
- Implement treatment modalities in individual and group therapy settings and engage patients in their treatment plans.
- Review and sign clinical psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents as needed.
- Maintain clinic records and document services and patient activities in accordance with clinical practices, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct crisis intervention for individuals and families based on the individual’s safety plan.
- Participate in case planning with the multidisciplinary team to determine clinically appropriate patient dispositions.
- Participate in individual and group supervision as required.
- Complete ongoing education, training, and competency assessments.
- Provide case management services to promote recovery and community reintegration as needed.
