Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in consultative sales, inside sales, enrollment, admissions, or another phone-based sales environment.
  • Have proven experience working toward sales quotas, KPIs, conversion goals, or revenue targets.
  • Have experience handling objections, discussing pricing, and closing opportunities.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated in managing leads and following through on commitments.
  • Have strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Be accountable and reliable, and willing to receive and apply feedback.
  • Be able to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven remote environment.
  • Be comfortable spending a significant portion of the workday speaking with prospective families by phone.
  • Have reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated, professional home workspace.
  • Preferred but not required: experience in education, tutoring, enrollment, or high-volume consultative sales; familiarity with CRM systems; or a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with prospective students and families who have expressed interest in tutoring services.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand academic challenges, goals, and tutoring needs.
  • Recommend appropriate tutoring solutions and communicate their value.
  • Discuss pricing, handle objections, and close sales.
  • Build trust through professional phone, text, and email communication.
  • Follow up with prospective families and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Manage a high volume of inbound leads while maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including conversations, follow-ups, and enrollment outcomes.
  • Work toward enrollment, conversion, revenue, and performance goals.
  • Take ownership of results, welcome coaching, and improve sales performance.
