Requirements
- Bring extensive software engineering experience, including a proven track record of leading engineering teams.
- Have recent experience writing production code and the ability to contribute hands-on technically.
- Have a track record of coaching, mentoring, and growing engineers.
- Bring broad technical knowledge across the stack and deep expertise in at least one area.
- Have strong system design and architecture skills.
- Communicate clearly and confidently and influence at all levels.
- Have experience using AI coding tools and a view on how they change the way teams work.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement to software delivery culture and strategy as part of the engineering leadership team.
- Write code and build products within an engineering pod.
- Coach and mentor engineers and contribute to clearer career paths across engineering.
- Shape technical architecture and key decisions with the CTO and other engineering leaders.
- Hire and develop engineers as the team grows.
- Champion AI-assisted engineering built on solid fundamentals.
- Work with product and the wider business to deliver what clients need.
