Requirements
- Have at least 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Have experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
- Be proficient in Python or Kotlin.
- Be familiar with distributed systems building blocks.
- Be familiar with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Have experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using Python or Kotlin.
- Be able to turn a business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components.
- Write clear, well-tested, extensible code.
- Be comfortable navigating large codebases and debugging other engineers’ code.
- Provide feedback to other engineers through code reviews.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Break larger projects into tasks and deliver them in multiple phases.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure timely delivery.
- Partner with product management, design, and analytics throughout product development.
- Articulate technical constraints and contribute to decisions that consider risks and trade-offs.
- Create and monitor metrics for team artifacts, escalating issues when needed.
- Support team operations, availability, and on-call efforts.
- Participate in interview and other growth and development activities.
