Requirements
- Have 4 or more years of quota-carrying, full-cycle closing experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, e-commerce, or another complex technology environment.
- Demonstrate a record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Have experience creating self-sourced pipeline in a new-logo acquisition role.
- Have experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and building executive and functional decision-maker relationships.
- Demonstrate consultative discovery, objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Be able to establish a clear decision process and mutual action plan.
- Be able to analyze merchant and market data and develop quantified business cases.
- Have experience coordinating legal, risk, technical, pricing, operational, and implementation stakeholders.
- Demonstrate territory planning, pipeline management, CRM discipline, and forecasting capabilities.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally, including through executive presentations and concise internal updates.
- Bring ownership, sound judgment, and resilience while managing multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
- Preferred: experience selling payment, lending, commerce, financial software, or solutions requiring technical integration and commercial structuring.
Responsibilities
- Own a defined territory and revenue plan, including account strategy, prioritization, pipeline planning, and execution cadence.
- Research priority merchants and generate qualified opportunities through outbound, partner channels, events, referrals, and internal resources.
- Lead executive discovery with founders, C-suite executives, and functional leaders.
- Set account plans, stakeholder strategies, competitive positioning, negotiation posture, and paths to close.
- Build quantified business cases using merchant data, expected conversion, average order value, GMV, revenue, and unit economics.
- Partner with Sales Engineering and Onboarding to define product configuration, integration paths, rollout strategy, and customer experience.
- Manage complex buying processes, including stakeholder alignment, procurement, security, legal, and risk requirements.
- Lead commercial negotiations and develop recommendations for non-standard partnership terms or requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional deal teams and manage launch dependencies from signature through integration and go-live.
- Maintain Salesforce, provide reliable forecasts, and share merchant, industry, and competitive insights internally.
