Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience managing enterprise software implementations or complex technical projects.
- Have experience leading end-to-end healthcare software implementations in hospitals, health systems, or clinical environments.
- Have experience managing complex, multi-site deployments with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate project management skills covering scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, change management, and issue resolution.
- Have experience coordinating software configuration, system testing, integrations, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Be familiar with healthcare interoperability standards and technologies, including HL7, FHIR, and APIs.
- Understand healthcare data privacy, security, and HIPAA requirements.
- Be able to manage competing priorities, lead escalations, and work with executive stakeholders.
- Be willing to travel domestically to customer sites as required.
- Preferred: experience with oncology information systems, radiation oncology software, treatment planning systems, or related clinical applications.
- Preferred: familiarity with radiation oncology workflows and cancer center clinical operations.
- Preferred: PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Preferred: experience mentoring project managers or leading enterprise-scale implementations.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools and project management platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise healthcare software implementations from project initiation through go-live and stabilization.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables.
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and escalations.
- Coordinate clinical, technical, engineering, and customer teams across multiple workstreams.
- Oversee software configuration, clinical workflow validation, system testing, and deployment readiness.
- Coordinate healthcare system integrations, interoperability, and data exchange requirements.
- Lead implementation planning, cutover activities, go-live execution, and post-launch stabilization.
- Manage customer relationships, executive communications, status reporting, and stakeholder expectations.
- Improve implementation methodologies, project documentation, and delivery processes, including through AI-enabled tools.
- Mentor project managers and support transitions from implementation to ongoing customer support.
