Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of professional work experience in a highly communicative role.
- Bring credentialing experience; this is highly preferred.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field; this is preferred.
- Have knowledge of Microsoft applications or similar applications.
Responsibilities
- Process completed provider files and input provider approval dates.
- Manage provider Fountain credentialing processes.
- Coordinate with the Credentialing Verification Organization to complete, download, and upload files and update systems with decisions.
- Contact providers to obtain missing information, including NPI numbers and CAQH profile information.
- Maintain accurate storage records for provider files.
- Ensure timely re-credentialing of the credentialed provider network.
- Coordinate re-credentialing reviews for each clinician with the Credentialing Verification Organization.
- Review credentialed licenses for accuracy.
- Conduct quarterly internal audits of the Credentialing Program.
