Requirements
- Bring 5-8 years of business and/or technical analysis experience in the Workers’ Compensation industry, or equivalent experience with policy, claims, or billing applications.
- Have 5+ years of data conversion experience.
- Demonstrate strong SQL skills, including experience with SQL Server and multiple structured query languages.
- Have experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and/or Oracle.
- Have experience with ETL tools; Talend is preferred.
- Understand logical and physical data modeling.
- Have strong knowledge of use case modeling and working knowledge of business modeling, requirements, and analysis and design across the iterative software development life cycle.
- Have experience with XML for data presentation and communication.
- Have experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, MS Project, and Visio.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field; related work experience may substitute.
- Be available for travel and on-site work at customer sites as project and customer requirements dictate.
Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and run data conversion load programs and orchestrate data loads to CoreSuite for Workers Compensation.
- Analyze business environments and processes to derive practical business-system solutions and ensure business needs are reflected in conversion processes and data mapping.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to the conversion process.
- Assist with data mapping and explain CoreSuite data extraction requirements to clients.
- Define and document business requirements that describe business scenarios and processes for technical and domain stakeholders.
- Help clients run, configure, and troubleshoot data extraction, including populating staging tables.
- Develop and maintain conversion validation processes to ensure accuracy.
- Work with clients on analysis, configuration, and implementation of conversion processes and routines.
- Document conversion procedures and collaborate with development and quality assurance teams on solutions.
