Requirements
- Have professional experience as a Senior Developer.
- Ideally have around 5+ years of developer experience.
- Ideally have experience working in a startup.
- Bring strong experience in GCP and backend design.
- Have experience building Node.js applications with TypeScript.
- Understand best practices for building Node.js applications.
- Have experience integrating with APIs, including REST and SOAP.
- Have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure; GCP is preferred but not required.
- Have experience with cloud services such as Datastore, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and IAM.
- Have experience with Docker.
- Have a solid understanding of VPCs, subnets, and private VPNs.
- Have experience with CI/CD automation, such as GitHub Actions.
- Have experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest.
Responsibilities
- Build platform capabilities that help clients look after their patients.
- Integrate new data sources and manage clinical data flows, including writing updates back to third-party systems.
- Own production services, including monitoring, debugging, and improving reliability over time.
- Collaborate with product and design to deliver user-focused solutions.
- Support and improve cloud infrastructure.
- Design, scope, build, and deploy new features for users.
- Take ownership of features and services and ensure they are reliable in production.
- Support and mentor other engineers through collaboration and code review.
- Drive best practices in software development, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure.
