Requirements
- Have a strong computer science background and familiarity with networking principles.
- Have experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-load real-time services.
- Be proficient in Python.
- Have experience with server-side coding for web services and API design principles.
- Be proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Have hands-on experience setting up and improving CI/CD pipelines.
- Be skilled in setting up and managing observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and integrating alert systems such as PagerDuty.
- Be familiar with Service-Oriented Architecture and communication protocols such as protobuf.
- Have experience with NoSQL and relational databases, distributed systems, and caching solutions.
- Have experience with a major public cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Have experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
- Have excellent English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and maintain web services in collaboration with other engineers.
- Build, deploy, and support services using Python and FastAPI.
- Write AWS CloudFormation scripts, Jenkins jobs, and GitHub Actions.
- Set up service observability, monitoring metrics, and alerting.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and separate stability testing.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical business partners to develop and update functionality.
- Communicate with stakeholders within and outside the team.
