Requirements
- Bring 6+ years of project management experience, including support for proposal development for government or defense-sector customers.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Have experience preparing and contributing to technical proposals.
- Have experience working with or as part of the Defense and Intelligence community.
- Be able to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a technical or product development setting.
- Bring excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to manage competing priorities independently and adapt quickly in dynamic environments.
- Bring a continuous improvement mindset and balance day-to-day responsibilities with forward-looking improvements.
- Federal customer proposal development experience is a plus.
- Understanding of platform development, platform integrations, or geospatial data-as-a-service offerings is a plus.
- Experience with remote sensing, EO data, or imaging technologies is a plus.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work with Professional Services Engineers, PreSales, Product Management, and other teams to design and deliver platform and data solutions.
- Lead proposal development for defense and intelligence customers by gathering technical inputs, articulating value propositions, and aligning proposals with mission needs.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics.
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.
- Scope and manage project schedules, drive execution, identify and mitigate risks, and track project costs and budgets.
- Provide customers and internal stakeholders with updates on project progress, adjustments, and strategy.
- Design and implement processes to improve operational excellence and scalability.
- Monitor workflows, identify inefficiencies, and improve ways of working.
- Manage subcontractor contracts, task assignments, deliverables, and budgets.
- Measure project performance and customer satisfaction to improve future delivery.
