Requirements
- Have 6+ years of professional UX design experience focused on enterprise or complex web applications.
- Demonstrate the ability to design data-dense, technical, or security-related products.
- Be proficient with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma or Balsamiq.
- Have experience building, contributing to, or governing a component-based design system, such as Figma libraries, token systems, or documented patterns.
- Understand usability, accessibility, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
- Have experience conducting user research and usability testing and iterating on designs using data.
- Have experience collaborating in Agile development environments.
- Be able to work independently and drive design decisions in ambiguous or fast-changing environments with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and an eye for clean, balanced visual design.
- Communicate and present design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- A bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience designing graph, network, or relationship-based data visualizations and familiarity with cybersecurity or IT administration are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex cybersecurity and data visualization concepts into intuitive, accessible user experiences.
- Partner with product management and engineering to turn business goals, security context, and technical constraints into prioritized UX direction and measurable design outcomes.
- Organize information and navigation for clarity and scalability in data-heavy interfaces.
- Design dashboard and report screens that support clarity and prioritization.
- Develop and maintain wireframes, prototypes, and UX documentation.
- Contribute to UX research and testing, validating assumptions and refining design decisions based on user feedback.
- Present design concepts and rationale to peers, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Support the design system’s evolution to promote consistency, scalability, and accessibility across product surfaces.
- Stay informed about UX trends, emerging technologies, and design tools.
