Requirements
- Have 4+ years of experience in customer experience or support.
- Have 2+ years of hands-on experience working directly with accounting, tax, or payroll systems.
- Be familiar with Xero, QuickBooks Online, Gusto, ADP, or similar accounting and payroll software.
- Understand payroll taxes and be able to explain S-Corp reasonable compensation to business owners without a financial background.
- Bring strong customer service instincts and a member-first mindset.
- Have strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, task-management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily video calls to guide members through onboarding and day-to-day account questions.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and escalate them as needed.
- Guide members through their first payroll and explain payroll taxes, including S-Corp payroll considerations.
- Explain complex tax and accounting topics in clear, accessible terms.
- Support members before and after onboarding with tax, accounting, payroll, and platform questions.
- Manage member conversations and tasks while maintaining service quality.
- Maintain accurate documentation across Salesforce and internal systems.
- Complete assigned tasks and workflows in a timely manner.
- Partner cross-functionally to advocate for members and improve the overall experience.
