Requirements

  • At least 10 years of related professional experience.
  • Extensive expertise in IT project management, including team leadership, collaboration, systems maintenance, and application development within defined constraints.
  • Demonstrated experience with facility control systems and network deployment.
  • Strong technical planning, implementation, and systems support capabilities.
  • Ability to document meetings, capture decisions and outcomes, and drive issues toward resolution.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to break down complex technical work into manageable tasks.
  • Ability to support technical documentation, engineering drawings, information security activities, and system authorization processes.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • An active SECRET security clearance is preferred.
  • Must reside in the Pacific Time Zone and be available for occasional travel to Petaluma, California.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical planning, deployment, implementation, and sustainment of facility control systems, including upgrades, patches, and equipment or component replacements.
  • Oversee technology refresh initiatives for wastewater treatment, water production, energy, Wi-Fi, training, and advanced metering infrastructure networks.
  • Coordinate technical planning, development, documentation, installation, and ongoing support for modernized systems.
  • Support preparation and maintenance of documentation required to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) approval.
  • Provide information security support to help maintain system integrity and compliance with applicable security requirements.
  • Maintain equipment inventories, system status records, and maintenance documentation.
  • Assist with development and modification of engineering drawings and support facility management software systems.
  • Lead project activities within technical, operational, and resource constraints and document meeting discussions, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Break complex work into manageable tasks and prepare monthly project status reports.
