Requirements

  • Have previous professional experience in a technology-industry outbound sales development or business development role.
  • Demonstrate strong phone presence, active listening, persuasive communication, and excellent written communication abilities.
  • Manage high-volume prospecting activity while maintaining organization, quality, and consistent follow-through.
  • Independently execute outbound sequences across calls, email, and social outreach.
  • Apply research and prioritization skills to identify relevant accounts, stakeholders, business needs, and compelling events.
  • Show initiative, resilience, and persistence when navigating prospecting challenges and setbacks.
  • Own projects and activities through to measurable outcomes.
  • Understand business processes, organizational structures, and roles involved in technology purchasing decisions.
  • Be proficient with Salesforce and familiar with Sales Navigator, Outreach, or comparable CRM and sales engagement platforms.
  • Collaborate effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
  • Be willing and able to travel periodically for team events, training, customer meetings, or other business activities.
  • Have professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns across an assigned territory to generate qualified meetings and sales pipeline.
  • Identify and develop new-logo and expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Research target organizations, identify decision-makers and business triggers, and develop personalized engagement strategies.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand business needs, qualify prospects, and create Sales Accepted Opportunities.
  • Build and execute prospecting sequences using phone, email, social selling, and other appropriate channels.
  • Manage prospecting activity, opportunity information, and pipeline data in Salesforce.
  • Partner with Marketing teams to develop account lists, campaigns, messaging, and call strategies.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Success to transition and develop qualified opportunities.
  • Document and improve business development processes, playbooks, and best practices.
