Requirements

  • Typically have eight or more years in product design or design systems.
  • Have Staff, Principal, or Lead-level ownership experience.
  • Have experience building scalable interaction patterns and UX frameworks beyond component or token libraries.
  • Have hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding and prototyping tools such as Codex, Cursor, and Claude Code.
  • Bring strong visual, interaction, and user experience craft, including accessibility expertise.
  • Have systems experience in complex B2B platforms, horizontal architectures, or developer tooling.
  • Be able to identify problems independently, set direction, and work directly with engineering.
  • Strong mobile or consumer design experience is a plus; a purely technical background must demonstrate excellent visual craft.

Responsibilities

  • Define platform-wide design systems and set vision and strategy.
  • Build scalable UX patterns and repeatable flows across a dense, multi-product platform, including mobile experiences.
  • Develop systems that define and measure design quality and automatically check product work against standards.
  • Build AI prototyping tools and code-based checks of implementation quality.
  • Own broad initiatives from strategy and research through hands-on prototyping and delivery.
  • Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to raise craft and evolve the design language.
