Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture.
- 8+ years of experience in site design and development.
- Project management experience, including scope, schedule, and budget control.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Landscape Architect.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
Responsibilities
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and track progress to manage project financial success and timely completion.
- Manage complex contract negotiations.
- Assemble and manage project teams, coordinate internal resources, and assign responsibilities aligned with project objectives.
- Monitor progress and project performance to keep deliverables within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage change requests, apply risk management techniques, and implement strategies to minimize negative financial impact.
- Coordinate technical reviews to ensure quality and fulfillment of contract terms, conditions, and specifications.
- Maintain positive client relationships and provide client service to secure future work.
- Document project deliverables and maintain records, including correspondence, design plans, and related files.
- Mentor team staff on project management best practices using Olsson Project Management programs and support resources.
