Requirements
- Have 4–8 years of experience; the required skills section specifies 4–5 years in a network and security support role.
- Have experience with ITIL-aligned support processes and managing incidents, requests, and changes through ServiceNow.
- Have hands-on experience deploying, administering, and troubleshooting SD-WAN, preferably VMware VeloCloud and Silver Peak.
- Know network security technologies including Fortinet, Palo Alto, Zscaler, IPS/IDS, web filtering, Secure Web Gateways (SWG), and firewall policy management.
- Understand advanced routing and switching protocols, including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking.
- Have experience managing and troubleshooting ISP circuits and WAN connectivity issues.
- Have hands-on experience with Infoblox DDI, including DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM).
- Have experience with network monitoring and observability platforms, including SNMP and API-based monitoring tools.
- Have experience with load balancing technologies, preferably F5.
- Have strong hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
- Have experience with Juniper routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
- Be available to work night shifts in UK hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced support for network and security incidents and service requests.
- Lead implementation of change requests and project tasks.
- Carry out maintenance, software upgrades, and hardware replacements.
- Resolve emergency P1 and P2 incidents.
- Troubleshoot complex networking and security issues across customer environments.
- Manage ISP circuits and liaise with providers as needed.
- Work with solution architects, functional consultants, and clients to understand business processes, requirements, and objectives.
