Job Details
- Experience
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3 to 5 years of relevant experience without a bachelor's degree, including a minimum of 2 years of SAP ECC Finance experience.
Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3 to 5 years without a bachelor's degree, including a minimum of 2 years of SAP ECC Finance experience.
- Have experience in one or more SAP Finance domains: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, or Funds Management.
- Have experience with SAP Public Sector Financials.
- Have Funds Management configuration experience, including creating budgets across the fund, funds center, and commitment item structure.
- Have experience writing and executing test plans.
- Demonstrate analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Have written and verbal communication skills.
- SAP Finance or SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP Public Sector Management on S/4HANA is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with SAP Financial Supply Chain Management receivables components, Grants Management or Budget Control System, or federal financial management standards is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions with client stakeholders and design SAP Finance solutions that meet documented business requirements.
- Perform business process design and system analysis across SAP Finance and SAP Public Sector Financials processes.
- Configure SAP Funds Management to track and control budgets by fund, funds center, and commitment item.
- Create and maintain budgets across the fund, funds center, and commitment item structure and support budget availability control.
- Support configuration and maintenance of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting processes.
- Coordinate with architects, developers, technical services teams, and business analysts on business analysis activities and functional requirements.
- Support the maintenance, enhancement, and development of SAP modules, including interfaces with other applications.
- Write and execute test plans, document results, and support defect resolution through closure.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, and end-user training materials.
