Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline; an MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
  • Have at least 8 years of professional experience, preferably in Master Data Management, enterprise technology, data engineering, or a related field.
  • Bring demonstrated people-management and team-leadership experience, including mentoring teams and delivering measurable quality or process improvements.
  • Have hands-on experience implementing and supporting MDM technologies such as SAP MDG or Reltio.
  • Have experience developing enterprise or business-specific MDM strategies incorporating data architecture, data governance, and AI data-readiness considerations.
  • Understand MDM across Supply Chain, R&D, Commercial, and Corporate Systems.
  • Demonstrate project and account management capabilities, including managing priorities, testing strategies, timelines, budgets, and external outsourcing partners.
  • Combine business acumen with technical credibility and the ability to translate technology concepts into business outcomes.
  • Bring communication, interpersonal, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills, and work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Have experience developing training materials and delivering instruction to audiences at different organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the global Master Data Management platform and data landscape, assessing organizational needs and driving data harmonization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Global Master Data Management Engineering/Ops team.
  • Establish and maintain performance metrics for MDM domains and environments, identifying process and operational improvements.
  • Build relationships with internal business and technology partners and strengthen their understanding of MDM capabilities and processes.
  • Define and communicate recommendations, policies, and strategic decisions to senior technology leadership.
  • Partner with internal teams to gather and translate requirements for enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and connected business solutions.
  • Lead system improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, performance, reliability, and operational capabilities across MDM environments.
  • Oversee projects and strategic initiatives with internal teams and external partners, delivering against timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
  • Support business teams’ use of MDM tools and applications through education, training, content development, and tool enhancements.
  • Advance scalable MDM architecture for enterprise applications and AI environments, and promote trusted data for data-driven insights.
