Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst in a high-growth or complex product environment.
- Bring hands-on experience with SQL, dbt, and Looker.
- Be able to write complex queries, model data, and build dashboards.
- Have experience working with Finance stakeholders, including FP&A, Accounting, Payments, or Revenue Ops.
- Have experience with GitHub or version control.
- Be able to explain technical topics and financial logic to non-technical audiences.
- Be able to take initiative, work independently, and drive projects from concept to delivery.
- Bring strong attention to detail, especially in reconciliation, financial logic, metric definitions, and QA.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance and Payments to build, refine, and maintain metrics, models, and dashboards for financial reporting.
- Own end-to-end analysis, from understanding business questions to writing SQL and dbt models, building Looker dashboards, and sharing insights with stakeholders.
- Develop and optimize Looker dashboards for financial planning, revenue analysis, cost insights, and transaction-level reporting.
- Maintain and evolve core financial data models in dbt.
- Troubleshoot data quality issues, validate calculations, and ensure trusted, reconciled datasets for Finance and Payments.
- Clarify ambiguous requirements, identify gaps, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Apply modeling, documentation, QA, and performance-tuning best practices to support data architecture modernization.
- Collaborate with Product, Support, and Marketing when financial data intersects with their work.
