Requirements
- Demonstrate English fluency and a strong command of spoken and colloquial forms, including contractions, filler words, and informal speech.
- Be comfortable using annotation or labeling tools.
- Reference and apply a detailed style guide consistently.
- Work independently and adapt to periodic guideline updates.
- Prior experience with audio transcription, data annotation, or speech/NLP data labeling is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Listen to short audio clips and review automatically generated word-level segments, including timestamps and transcription.
- Verify that segment boundaries align with the actual speech onset and offset.
- Review and correct start and end timestamps when boundaries are inaccurate.
- Identify and flag tasks for discard based on criteria such as unintelligible audio, non-target language, sensitive content, or no voice activity.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy while applying the detailed, evolving style guide.
