  • Pay close attention to detail and be comfortable working with ambiguity.

  • Have a quiet working environment and good headphones.

Responsibilities

  • Review annotations flagged by first-pass annotators for disagreement or ambiguity.
  • Listen to audio clips and make final determinations on word-level segment boundaries and transcriptions.
  • Apply the project style guide consistently to resolve edge cases.
  • Provide clear rationale for adjudication decisions.
  • Identify patterns in annotator errors and provide feedback on quality observations where needed.
