Requirements
- Have at least 2–4 years of experience owning a product backlog end-to-end in an Agile environment.
- Demonstrate product ownership experience in a tightly coupled platform environment.
- Ramp up quickly in unfamiliar technical or regulatory domains.
- Sequence work and resolve competing priorities across engineering teams that do not report into the same chain.
- Write precise, testable acceptance criteria.
- Reason through data quality and completeness gaps before they become delivery blockers.
- Represent product status and trade-offs to engineering teams and client-facing stakeholders.
- Use judgment to determine when a decision requires escalation, especially in regulation-heavy assignments.
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, and define acceptance criteria before stories are marked sprint-ready.
- Sequence and negotiate delivery across dependent platform, integration, infrastructure, and adjacent product teams.
- Balance new feature development, live-service maintenance, and active production support.
- Build working knowledge of the technical and regulatory domain for the assigned product.
- Partner with the supporting Product Manager and client-side stakeholders to resolve requirements before development starts.
- Maintain sign-off discipline and manage rework risk from late-stage scope changes.
- Own downstream interface contracts, including field definitions, data completeness, and naming, where applicable.
