Requirements
- Have 5+ years of professional IT experience.
- Have 3+ years of hands-on cloud and infrastructure engineering experience, particularly with Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.
- Have experience supporting large and complex enterprise environments.
- Have experience working across distributed or global teams.
- Have experience with ITIL-aligned Incident, Problem, Change, Request Fulfilment, and Service Transition operations.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Hold relevant Microsoft Azure certification(s).
- Have strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Be able to work independently in a remote environment and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
- Have technical experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Windows Server, and Linux (RHEL or Ubuntu).
- Have experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, and Azure Automation Runbooks, including Hybrid Worker environments.
- Have knowledge of Azure governance, secure landing zones, platform security, monitoring, patching, lifecycle management, and hybrid infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and optimise Microsoft Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
- Design and maintain secure Azure landing zones, platform guardrails, policies, subscription structures, naming standards, and access controls.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID services, including RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, SCIM, and identity governance.
- Build, harden, patch, maintain, and decommission Windows Server and Linux workloads across cloud, virtualised, colocation, and on-premises environments.
- Design and deploy infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Azure Automation Runbooks, JSON, and YAML.
- Monitor platform health, capacity, availability, and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Managed Grafana.
- Ensure platform security and compliance through hardening, CIS baselines, vulnerability remediation, identity controls, and certificate lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotation and occasional out-of-hours support for critical global services.
