Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree.
  • Have at least seven years of relevant experience.
  • Have a minimum of five years of experience in B2B marketing.
  • Have experience at a high-tech SaaS company; education technology industry experience is preferred.
  • Have experience planning and executing go-to-market activities.
  • Have working knowledge of the Pragmatic Marketing approach; direct experience is preferred.
  • Have experience developing industry-level messaging and positioning and articulating value and differentiation.
  • Have experience working with field sales teams to deliver content and gather feedback.
  • Have experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or a similar CRM or marketing automation platform.
  • Be able to write and present effectively, manage multiple projects and tight deadlines, and make data-informed decisions.
  • Have teamwork skills and the ability to manage external resources and collaborate across company functions.
  • Complete and pass CLEAR™ identity verification as part of pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the competitive marketplace and the differentiators of Encourage products in the college and career planning market.
  • Develop and refine buyer personas for products and services.
  • Build subject-matter expertise on Encourage products and use cases, and provide Sales, Product, and Marketing with FAQs and internal resources.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Encourage Marketing on seasonal go-to-market plans and execute them.
  • Develop positioning, content, and target personas for email campaigns, website copy, marketing collateral, and sales presentations.
  • Train Partnerships and other client-facing teams on product use cases and market problems, and develop internal and external tools.
  • Collect feedback from the market and market-facing teams to inform product positioning and innovation.
  • Work with Product Management on new product releases and lead product launch activities.
  • Represent Encourage at conferences, partner meetings, client visits, school and district demos, focus groups, and other priority events.
