Requirements
- 15+ years of professional experience, including 10+ years working with Life & Annuity and/or Group insurance products and processes.
- Extensive experience with insurance software packages, preferably policy administration systems, claims, or related enterprise insurance platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Life and Annuity and Group insurance, with significant expertise in policy administration or claims.
- Business and technical expertise across core insurance processes, data, digital platforms, and cloud-based enterprise systems.
- Experience translating product vision and strategy into roadmaps, business requirements, user journeys, and acceptance scenarios.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, UAT, requirements coverage, defect analysis, and end-to-end testing.
- Business process analysis skills and a data-driven approach to planning and evaluating product delivery.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with global, distributed, and remote teams across different time zones.
- Experience with SAFe Agile development practices and processes; SAFe Practitioner certification is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
- Actuarial qualification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Translate product vision, strategy, and roadmap priorities into end-to-end user acceptance journeys and test cases across policy administration and claims.
- Lead requirements gathering for life insurance claims capabilities with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and IT teams.
- Analyze business processes and systems to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and improved customer experiences.
- Collaborate with testing teams to ensure requirements coverage and representation of business, functional, and scenario patterns.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing to validate product solutions against business requirements and expected outcomes.
- Analyze defect leakage with implementation and production customers and recommend quality assurance improvements.
- Support issue analysis, triage, and resolution during testing and production.
- Demonstrate product features and capabilities to customers, stakeholders, and internal audiences.
- Track roadmap execution and delivery effectiveness using data-driven analysis, and coach team members in business analysis.
